Timespace provides new CCTV options for operators

Timespace Technology will be introducing two digital video recorders and new software features at Euro Bus Expo. The new X300-16M DVR offers 16 channels of video, a power-down circuit and configurable alarms, and is an option for operators considering replacing Timespace X200 CCTV systems.

Meanwhile, the new R500 DVR, with four analogue camera inputs and four HD IP camera inputs, provides an option to introduce IP cameras into vehicle CCTV.  Both new DVRs are compatible with all existing Timespace accessories and software.

LANLink, Timespace’s remote monitoring software, will also be demonstrated on the stand to show its use as a fleet management platform, with new features including GPS vehicle tracking and file/access password and encryption settings. LANLink enables operators to see at a glance the status of all installed CCTV systems via ‘traffic light’ health indicators and daily camera snapshots.

Footage can be downloaded manually or automatically, triggered by GSensor, alarm or CAN thresholds. Vehicle CAN data can now be included in LANLink via Timespace’s CANLink unit, allowing CAN data to be viewed in sequence with video footage.

Timespace will also be showing its V400 and V500 hybrid DVRs – one-box DVRs to enable operators to benefit from HD-quality IP cameras – and demonstrating PCLink, the proprietary software for video viewing and analysis.
