LandFlight invested £325,000 in a new Mercedes-Benz Tourismo coach and Mercedes V-Class MPV. The coach comes as part of a £2.3million investment by LandFlight to upgrade its entire fleet to comply with Euro 6 emission standards.
It joins other 49-seat Tourismo coaches in LandFlight’s fleet and features air-conditioning, a full leather interior, a hot drinks servery, on-board WC washroom and complimentary wi-fi.
The V-Class seats seven passengers and has air-conditioning and full leather interior.
“We are excited to be able to introduce these two new vehicles to our fleet,” says LandFlight director Danny Matthews. “Recently we have been working more with tour companies and this is an area we would like to expand on in the future. The new Tourismo coach will be perfect for the needs of the tour industry.
“We’re proud to be growing our fleet and to be helping make the West Midlands and Birmingham more environmentally friendly in support of the CAZ.
“Many companies who have older, more polluting vehicles will charge customers extra to cover the cost of the new clean air charges.”
