Redline Travel has taken delivery of another Volvo B11R to add to its growing fleet. The new 53-seater with Jonckheere bodywork, joins Redline Travel’s fleet of more than 20 vehicles. It will be used on local work in and around Lancashire and on a range of national tours and for use on school contracts.
“We already have around 14 Volvo vehicles in our fleet, six of which are B11Rs with Jonckheere bodywork, so the decision to purchase yet another was very easy,” says Shane Nuttall, managing director, Redline Travel. “We are confident that this purchase will strengthen our offering to customers in the north west even further.”
Redline Travel opted for a gold maintenance contract, which provides, for a pre-determined fee, all chassis maintenance and any repairs being looked after by Volvo Buses and gives protection against unforeseen downtime and expenses.
“The vehicle performs extremely well and offers a great customer experience through the comfort and styling it provides,” adds Nuttall. “It also has a stand-out presence when on the road which attracts more customers and keeps them coming back.”
Established in 1987, Redline Travel is a family-owned operator based in Penwortham, Preston in Lancashire.
