Now entering its tenth trading year, Sigma Fabrics is a familiar name as a supplier of transport seating fabrics in the UK.
The company reports sales growth year-on-year since 2010 which managing director Mike Formby says is due to its range of innovative designs, quality and reliability of service that he believes are increasingly essential in a sector that regularly demands fast response times.
Sigma offers transport moquettes in wool blend piles as well as 100 per cent polyester. “Polyester is a very economical fibre,” says Formby.
“It’s good for allergy sufferers, sheds moisture and resists mildew. These fabrics are soft, stain-resistant, and affordable.
“Polyester also gives some of the richest colours of any fibre and has excellent fade resistance”.
The availability of fabrics from stock with next day delivery is part of the company’s offering and it also supplies bespoke fabric designs to bus and coach operators who need to ensure that their corporate image is carried throughout the fleet, as well as a number of heritage designs for vintage vehicle renovation.
