CaetanoBus and RATP have signed a cooperation agreement to test the 12m H2.City Gold, Caetano’s new hydrogen-powered bus, fitted with Toyota fuel cell technology, that is available in 10.7 or 12m, LHD and RHD versions.
Caetano says the new bus reinforces its ambition to be a key player in city transport and improve the quality life of urban populations. Commercial sales of the H2.City Gold will start in mid-2020.
“CaetanoBus aims to create all the necessary conditions to accelerate the deployment of zero emission buses, empowering cities to change to zero-emission mobility,” states Jorge Pinto, CEO, CaetanoBus. “France is a key strategic market for CaetanoBus and a partnership with RATP is a great opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the market leader in urban mobility.” This alliance shows that both companies are working together towards a zero-emission public passenger transport.”
