Volvo top choice for Plastow’s

Plastow’s Travel of Oxford has added two new Volvo B9Rs with Jonckheere bodies to its nine-vehicle fleet. “We’ve always been a fan of the Volvo Jonckheere combination,” says Barbara Plastow. “The new B9Rs feature 53 passenger seats and a toilet, which makes them ideal for our private hire work.

“Our whole fleet is Volvo based – that’s not an accident. We’ve looked at the rest of the market, but Volvo has consistently provided us with the right vehicles at the right time.”

Plastow’s new Volvo B9Rs have Volvo’s D9B 380bhp 9.4-litre engine, driving through the 12-speed automated Volvo I-Shift mechanical gearbox. They have leather-trimmed seats, CD/DVD player with two monitors, coffee machine, and a reversing camera.
