Metroline contract for Triscan

Article Image

Triscan has been awarded a contract to upgrade Metroline’s fuel management system. Metroline runs 1,200 buses from nine depots in London and will deploy Triscan’s fuel management solutions across its entire fleet. As a consequence, Triscan says it will be one of the first companies to fit fuel management solutions for the forthcoming Borismasters due at Metroline later this year.

The installation will be completed in four phases and all vehicle fitments will be completed during the night to minimise disruption to the fleet.

The project’s installation includes four teams of engineers (hardware, software, vehicle and project management), co-ordinated and managed by Triscan on behalf of Metroline. Triscan will be providing a complete fuel management solution including its Odyssey Web software, the new range of Integra fuel pumps, Kisskey OBDs and tank gauges.

“It became apparent early in the negotiations that to fully support Metroline, Triscan would have to offer a customised service level agreement (SLA),” says a spokesperson for Triscan. “This unique SLA guarantees the level of support required to maintain 80 bus routes across one of the world’s busiest cities and reflects the client’s needs to ensure a successful, commercial relationship.”
