Fountain and manor to explore

Article Image

The spectacular gravity fountain at Stanway House is the world’s highest, reaching 300ft. The House itself is a fine example of a Cotswolds manor and has been lived in by the same family since the 16th century. It is still the family home.

There are extensive grounds to explore and a fascinating history to discover. Groups are welcome at any time throughout the year for exclusive access and a private tour. Coach drivers and tour leaders get free entry.

Tea and home made cake can be arranged inside the house. There is a newly restored watermill where visitors can watch flour being milled.

Stanway House is close to Broadway, Stow on the Wold and all the north Cotswold attractions.
