VIP coach groups at Excursions
Guests of coach and tour operators brought to Excursions 2017 at Alexandra Palace, North London on Saturday 28 January will take a step back in time to the 19th century world of Jane Austen as they receive a special welcome in a unique JA200-themed area commemorating the 200th anniversary of the author’s death.
Hampshire Cultural Trust is working with Jane Austen’s House Museum, Winchester Cathedral and many other partners to celebrate Austen’s creativity, talent and life in Hampshire with a programme of exhibitions, events and performances throughout the county during 2017.
Only open to VIP guests, the JA200 area will provide a taste of what is to come with personal items that belonged to Jane Austen, Regency music, specialist tour guides and a preview of artist-designed benches from Basingstoke’s ‘Sitting with Jane Trail’, all offering inspiration for 2017 group visits.
With an expected attendance of 1,200 quality buyers and around 300 exhibitors from the UK and Europe, Excursions provides a place for networking and inspiration for group day trips, short breaks and holidays.
