Coventry Cathedral welcomes coach groups
Situated in the heart of the Midlands, and linked to several major motorways, Coventry Cathedral welcomes coach groups to its range of attractions from the ruins of the 12th century St Mary’s Priory, to the medieval splendour of the ruined cathedral of St Michael and the 20th century design of the ‘new cathedral’. The site is well sign-posted from outside the city limits to make it easier to find and there is a coach drop-off point located outside the main entrance, with White Street Coach Park within 500 yards.
The cathedral welcomes groups of any size and visitors can also take in the Blitz Experience museum which tells the story of Coventry during world war two as well as climb the striking spire, the third largest in England.
Expert guides are available for a small fee who can tailor a tour to meet a group’s specific interests and there is also a coffee shop and gift shop.
