DRM Bus Company turns to Volvo for speedy delivery
The DRM Bus Company has taken delivery of a new Volvo B8RLE bus to meet an urgent demand for a new vehicle for its local authority contracts in Herefordshire.
“The delivery timing was key to this purchase where we needed a vehicle at short notice,” says David Morris, owner of DRM. “Volvo had the availability and the vehicle specification we were looking for at a competitive price.”
The MCV-bodied B8RLE will be used on regular routes for Herefordshire council as well as school contracts in the area.
“Our new bus features all the latest passenger safety, comfort and convenience benefits, such as three-point seat belts, which was a very important feature to us especially when carrying school children.”
Dan Barwick, fleet sales manager, Volvo Bus, adds: “The B8RLE has a solid reputation, with many operators around the UK reporting great feedback on reliability of operation and the overall quality of the vehicle.”
DRM Bus Company has been operating since 1984.
