The Kings Ferry places repeat Tourismo order
National Express subsidiary, The Kings Ferry, has placed a repeat order for ten Tourismos which are due to be delivered this month for use on London-based commuter services. The Kings Ferry’s latest order follows seven Tourismos taken over the last two years.
The new batch will be built to a luxury specification including Luxline leather upholstery with fold-out trays, seat- and wall-mounted USB charging points, provisions, uprated overhead service controls with ambient LED lighting and dual 19-in fixed LCD displays.
The coaches will have a full DDA specification including destination displays and wheelchair lift.
Lee Hake, Mercedes area sales manager for London and South East says: “The operator’s commitment to excellence and quality of service is impressive and I’m delighted The Kings Ferry have chosen the Tourismo again to uphold the standard of comfort, luxury and safety passengers have come to expect.”
