Acoustic specialist continues to expand

Acoustic specialist continues to expand Ventac recently won a contract to supply acoustic treatment to Temsa.

Having developed a number of projects in recent years with Alexander Dennis and Plaxtons, specialist acoustic engineering company Ventac continues to expand its bus and coach customer base with the recent announcement of collaboration with Turkish manufacturer Temsa. 

Ventac says it has adopted a partnership approach where much reduced noise levels are delivered through strategically located noise-absorbent materials in the engine compartment and other noise-sensitive locations. 

Currently employing 43 people at its headquarters in Blessington, Ireland, Ventac offers customers technical and manufacturing expertise to equip their vehicles for noise control.

With its own acoustic laboratory it offers the latest materials and composites that target problem frequencies and enable maximum noise reduction. 

The company says that it is able to undertake an acoustic analysis of vehicles to enable it to provide solutions for engine bay treatment, bus floor/roof products, driver cab and body panel treatment. 

Armed with an in-depth understanding and experience of vehicle acoustics, coupled with a knowledge of materials and the way they perform, Ventac aims to offer the most effective solution to their customers.
