Changes for Stagecoach coach division Changes for Stagecoach coach division
Stagecoach has changed the management structure of its UK Coach division in preparation for further expansion in the UK and Europe. ELIZABETH ESNOUF, managing director of coaches and special activities, now focuses on managing the megabus.com network in the UK and Europe. She is also responsible for Stagecoach’s cross-border services between Scotland and England.

Responsibility for Scottish Citylink now lies with EDWARD HODGSON, who takes on the post of managing director in addition to his previous responsibilities as managing director of Stagecoach West Scotland. Hodgson will manage the development of express services operated wholly within Scotland under both the Scottish Citylink and megabus.com brands.

Esnouf was appointed managing director of coaches and special activities in December 2012 and before that was Olympic project director. Her previous permanent role was as Stagecoach Midlands operations director. Esnouf worked for Blackpool Transport and Arriva before joining Stagecoach.

Hodgson was commercial director at Stagecoach South before spending three years in the USA as director of megabus.com. He was appointed managing director of Stagecoach West Scotland in December 2011.

Stagecoach UK Bus managing director ROBERT MONTGOMERY says: “This is an exciting time for our coach networks across the UK and in Europe and it’s important that we have the correct management structure in place to help develop both our Scottish Citylink and megabus.com operations in the future.”
