East Lothian Buses adds new Volvos East Lothian Buses adds new Volvos
Five new Volvo B7RLEs have joined the fleet of East Lothian Buses, the operation set up by council-owned Lothian Buses to run one of the services abandoned by First when it cut back its operations around Edinburgh in June. The Wrightbus-bodied Volvos have a new green livery which acknowledges the colours used by Eastern Scottish, the predecessor to First in the area. They replace older double-deckers.

Ian Craig, managing director of Lothian Buses, says: “After four months in operation, we are delighted to be able to build on the current service we provide by making improvements for our customers. Our investment in new vehicles for this route shows our continued commitment to the people of East Lothian and to the local environment.”
