Epsom installs automatic chassis wash
WNV-systems, in conjunction with sister company FDI-European, supports national bus and coach companies with their vehicle cleaning requirements, with systems that it says represent proven health and safety savings and return on investment, recycling 96 per cent of water used. WNV says it is seeing increased demand from the bus and coach industry.
“We have always aimed to clean vehicles to the highest standards, not only in terms of visual presentation, but also to facilitate maintenance,” says Steve Whiteway, managing director Epsom Coaches Group. “The auto chassis wash is simplicity itself to operate and does a very thorough job.
“Most importantly it has proven to be durable and reliable, something we have not experienced with other manufacturers in the past. The labour-saving and economical operation of the system coupled with the benefits of clean vehicles for our engineers has fully justified our investment in WNV’s equipment.”
The automatic chassis wash cleans buses and coaches up to MoT inspection standard in 30 minutes, providing a full-width clean from nine rotating jets.
Geoff Elbrow, managing director, WNV-systems adds: “We understand the challenges facing the bus and coach market and we have the flexibility in our designs and range of machines to provide commercial vehicle washing systems that not only meet, but exceed, cost-saving, labour efficiency and environmental targets.”
