Israel goes Solo Israel goes Solo
Following successful homologation and in-service trials of an Optare Solo in Israel, a further four are now being delivered. They will be operated by DAN, the country’s second-largest bus company. All five are 8.8m-long two-door models with 21 seats. They have roof-mounted Sutrak air-conditioning and additional hopper windows.

The Solos have Euro 5 MAN EEV engines, and are being supplied through CNEC, Optare’s agent for Israel – and also the country’s main MAN importer.
