Omega Travel of Milton Keynes has added three Scania OmniExpress tri-axle coaches to its fleet. The new vehicles join two purchased by the firm last year, and two further identical coaches are due to be delivered shortly, taking to seven the company’s OmniExpress fleet. The coaches are 14.1m-long 63-seaters and are used on British and European tours. The company’s Ian Huang says the new Scanias will be used to develop Omega Travel’s share of the rapidly-developing Mandarin-speaking tourist market in the UK.

The company says it buys from Scania because of the OmniExpress’s specification, capacity and value for money, along with the convenience and reassurance of the repair and maintenance package.
