Autoglass Specials has acquired Middlesex-based bus and coach glass specialist Super Screens as part of a move to meet increasing demand from its customers.

Based in Ashford, Middlesex, Super Screens was founded as a family business in 1985. Now occupying a 12,000 sq ft workshop, it employs 16 staff, providing services to clients such as Evobus and Siemens Transportation.

As part of Autoglass Specials division, Super Screens will complement the company’s existing service aimed at customers who own or maintain coaches, buses, HGVs, trains and agricultural vehicles.

“Bus and coach glass replacement is a key area of growth for our business,” says Jeremy Rochfort, national sales manager, Autoglass.

“We’re delighted that this latest acquisition of Super Screens will enable us to broaden our existing service offer, reaching more customers seeking bespoke windscreen maintenance,”

“Reducing vehicle down-time is absolutely crucial to our customers’ businesses, which is why we invest so significantly in our technicians, tools and techniques. Our unsurpassed levels of research into glass and manufacturer specifications ensure that we are able to stay ahead of the pack in terms of knowledge and expertise and provide a high quality, efficient and flexible service.”
