Dealer support swings Volvo sale

Article Image

Lewes-based Regency Coaches has taken delivery of two Volvo B9Rs with 55-seat Jonckheere bodywork. They are the company’s first new full-size coaches and take the fleet strength to 22. “We’ve had six Volvo B10Ms in the past and they’ve served us well,” says Regency Coaches managing director, John Durrant. “Added to that, we have a great existing relationship with our local Volvo dealer MC Truck and Bus. The support they give us is second to none. Their parts and servicing support was a big part of our decision in selecting the Volvo chassis.”

The B9R is powered by Volvo’s 9-litre D9B engine at 380bhp, it is fitted with the Volvo I-Shift 12-speed automated gearbox as standard. The Regency coaches have Alcoa wheels.
