Anderson steps down from CoachMarque

MARK ANDERSON, director of Anderson Travel, has resigned as chairman of the CoachMarque management committee to focus on his own company’s business. He had been CoachMarque chairman for six years.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the CPT and CoachMarque members for their support and membership during my term as chair, particularly to the management committee who have all given their time and effort to help the cause,” says Anderson. “I am sure that whoever the next chair is will greatly benefit from the talent and experience of these people.

“Business is still tough for many with rising fuel and insurance costs combined with sluggish demand in many sectors, making having that competitive edge even more important now than ever. CoachMarque aims to be that edge and helps add value to that all important bottom line.

“The membership benefits programme, online forum and annual conference have created a ‘family’ of great tour operators the length and breadth of the UK and Northern Ireland and Anderson Travel is proud to remain a part of that.”

CPT will appoint a new chairman at the group’s next meeting on 7 March.
